Inspiration [Week 6]│Akira Toriyama

These pieces of artwork were illustrated by Japanese manga and video game artist, Akira Toriyama. The 2 pieces above are from videos games: Dragon Quest & Chrono Trigger, having a constructed art style with both characters and background. The third one on the bottom is from the manga: Dragon Ball, repeating the same I said from the two pieces above, constructive art style with the characters and background; Toriyama has and still illustrates fantastic pieces of art that anyone can appreciate when they see it.

Inspiration [Week 5]│John Kricfalusi

The characters Ren and Stimpy from The Ren and Stimpy Show were created by Canadian animator, voice actor, writter, and director, Michael John Kricfalusi. This one is huge for me because of the creative design of these characters and of other works he did in the latter future. Since the beginning of the series, every character are always off-model, meaning that their faces and expressions are always different in every scene they're in [Example][How I found out]. If anyone who is trying to make a living in art or animation and if they've watched Ren and Stimpy, they can tell you that it is perfect for inspiration.
