Inspiration [Week 4]│Ken Sugimori

These creations are from video game character designer and art director, Ken Sugimori, known for his illustrations on the main Pokemon series. These Pokemon shown right now were from a previous style of his during the mid 90s. Looking through these pieces, I can already appreciate the use of color, lighting and their positions; from innocent to tough to fierce, Ken Sugimori can display life, dimension, and emotion to his creations.

Inspiration [Week 3]

This beautifully constructed background comes from the Cartoon Network series Steven Universe. I second I look at it, it already encaptures me with its beautiful blue pallet and its subject, the hand. One of many designed backgrounds that are produced for this show.

My Pictures, Part 2

What I enjoy about this picture was the aesthetics of the car, how the tires are tilted.
I feel that this picture was successful due to the position of the subject matter.

I appreciate about this picture what for the fact that I accidentally cut my left thumb a little deep, so I wanted to take a picture of this since I never seen any of my fingers slightly cut open.
I'm unsure if this is a successful photo or not, since the subject matter is blurry, but the position it was taken is decent.

What I savor about this picture is mainly for the colors of the sky.
I feel that it isn't successful, image wise, since I'm unsure that if there is any subject matter at all.

My Pictures, Part 1

This picture is one of my favorites and important due to the fact that I was at my older brother's graduation, being a very important milestone for him and for myself later on.
In general there is no inspiration for this, no composition behind this, and no set up. The background is the Mission Hills High School gym.

This picture of me was taken recently and important being that this is the first step of my photography skills.
In actuality, there was no inspiration behind this, nor any composition, or any set up; the background is my bedroom door.

Inspiration [Week 2]

These sketches come from an American internet artist/animator called Zach Hadel, or as he more known as psychicpebbles. What I love about his work (more importantly pieces like these) is how he manipulates the skin when he draws human, more specifically men. How so much of his work is very exaggerated is what captures me.

These pieces come from an Canadian artist know as Sabtastic. Much of her work consist of women, more importantly, Pinups. What I think makes her such a talented artist is mostly through her design and composition on how she draws beautiful women.

This is the album cover of Adventure from EDM artist Madeon. When I look at this, I'm already so invested in it, due to the fact that I'm a fan of minimalism. That way how it's designed and it's artistic landscape background captures me.
